Mair Davies7. December, 2024.Ate at Brook bistro on 7 December 2024 with 5 ex work friends for our Christmas get together. The food was amazing the service was even better. We had just finished our meal when there was a full power cut in the restaurant. As we had just finished we were prepared to pay for the lovely meal we just had. But the management decided to let us eat free of charge. We didn’t want to do that but they insisted, so each one of us gave the waiting staff £10 to cover the service. What can I say a great unexpected gesture. Thank you thank you thank you for every thing we had a great night regardless.
Steve Morgan4. December, 2024.One of my favourite restaurants. Even as the dreaded Christmas menu arrives, you can rely on the Brook Bistro to still produce the favourites. Between us, we had fillet steak, lamb, and monkfish, all prepared to the highest quality. Yes, on this occasion, I succumbed to the Christmas pudding, which was creatively presented and delicious tasting. I'm also pleased to see the availability of red wine by the glass has been extended in range.

Service friendly and everyone enjoyed their food which is a bonus as there's usually something with a large table order that doesn't go to plan. One thing to note though is the portions are on the generous side so probably not somewhere to go if you are on a diet.
