The food was amazing the service was even better. We had just finished our meal when there was a full power cut in the restaurant. As we had just finished we were prepared to pay for the lovely meal we just had. But the management decided to let us eat free of charge. We didn’t want to do that but they insisted, so each one of us gave the waiting staff £10 to cover the service. What can I say a great unexpected gesture. Even as the dreaded Christmas menu arrives, you can rely on the Brook Bistro to still produce the favourites. Between us, we had fillet steak, lamb, and monkfish, all prepared to the highest quality. Yes, on this occasion, I succumbed to the Christmas pudding, which was creatively presented and delicious tasting. Easy and efficient to deal with. Service friendly and everyone enjoyed their food which is a bonus as there's usually something with a large table order that doesn't go to plan.
